The fine print, in plain English
Legal
Not legal advice
Everything on this site is general information. Nothing here tells you what to do about your ticket, whether to contest it, or how it affects your insurance. For your situation, contact the court clerk or a licensed attorney.
Not a consumer report
This is not a consumer report and may not be used for employment, housing, credit, or insurance. We assemble no files on any person and serve no third parties — the site works the same for everyone and remembers no one.
We do not pull driving records
We link to each state's DMV official own-record request page. We never request, receive, or store anyone's motor vehicle record. The federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act and state motor-vehicle privacy laws (such as Nebraska's Uniform Motor Vehicle Records Disclosure Act) restrict who may obtain those records and why; requesting your own record is a permitted use, and the official page explains the rules.
We hold no personal data
There is nowhere on this site to type a driver's license number, name, date of birth, plate, VIN, or title. We keep no accounts, no databases, and no analytics of who looked up what. There is nothing to breach, subpoena, or delete.
Self-check only
This tool is designed for checking your own situation. It is not a people-search product and must not be used to look into other people.
Official sources change
Court and DMV pages move. Every routed link carries a last-verified date, and automated checks run on every change. If a link is wrong, the entry is flagged, then disabled — a wrong confident link is worse than no link.
Third-party hosts this site contacts
This site sets no cookies, uses no localStorage, and runs no
analytics — nothing you type here is sent anywhere. Loading the page does
contact a short, fixed list of hosts to fetch static assets and, on the
map, map tiles. Each request carries only ordinary browser request
metadata (such as IP address and user agent), which is standard web
behavior and outside our control once the request leaves your browser:
- cdn.jsdelivr.net — fonts (Fraunces, Inter) and the MapLibre GL JS map library. Every file is pinned to an exact version with Subresource Integrity (SRI), so the file served cannot silently change.
- server.arcgisonline.com (Esri) — Street, Satellite, and Terrain map tiles, and place-name/boundary labels, on the court map. No API key is used or required.
- a.basemaps.cartocdn.com (CARTO, using OpenStreetMap data) — the Night map tiles on the court map.
A strict Content-Security-Policy on every page limits script, style, font, image, and network access to exactly this list — nothing else can load, even if a bug tried to reach somewhere else.
